Next stop Crack Street

I picked up a videocassette with a film centered on crack addiction during a visit in Brooklyn. I'll give it a sober look. I watched some tv there among friends. NB: If you get the Brooklyn public access channel turn it on now and tape it.

My Hope Diamond and Holy Grail

I threw it away. My videotape of psychic Gary Spivey's stunning infomercial, hosted by Downtown Julie Brown. Years ago now. If anyone finds it, somewhere in a landfill, send a postcard, contact me.

Be the best you can be

This introduction to a workout video for the home, nay, the sole privacy of one's own bedroom, starts with the same sunny innocence as the opening seconds of "Three's Company." Quickly, accredited exercise expert Cynthia on a bike, plows the throngs of Muscle Beach, and, egged on by the propulsive boom-ba-boom-boom stripper beat, she builds the momentum needed to get us to our goal- self-realization through bust building. Whether it's sunning oneself in the sand, prowling the Strip, or just relaxing (ahh) in a black pharaonic onyx tub, projectile confidence makes all the difference. That is, until our instructor shrinks into a reverse zoom, then a fade-out, against the tinder wastescape of Hollywood Hill after an exerting game of softball.
